one-day Faculty Development Programme on “Hands-on Workshop on 3D Printing in Pharmaceutical Sciences” in association with Thincr Technologies India Pvt. Ltd.

The Center of Excellence (Regional experential center for 3D printing) and Department of Pharmaceutics, Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, successfully organized a one-day Faculty Development Programme on “Hands-on Workshop on 3D Printing in Pharmaceutical Sciences” in association with Thincr Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. 28th March 2026.

A total of 70 participants were registered for the programme. The registration process was efficiently handled by Prof. R. R. Popat and Prof. C. V. Jaiswal.

The programme began with the inaugural function, which was anchored by Dr. A. A. Zanke. The preface of the programme was delivered by Dr. R. R. Thenge. Dr. Prashant Deshmukh (Principal) provided guidance and motivated the participants. The introduction of the resource person was given by Prof. N. B. Chopade, followed by the inaugural vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Mukesh Babhulkar.

The technical session was conducted by Dr. Shitalkumar Zambad, CEO of Thincr Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., who explained the fundamentals and applications of 3D printing in pharmaceutical sciences.

In the afternoon, post-lunch session focused on hands-on training, where participants actively engaged in operating 3D printers, understanding the printing process, and performing basic post-processing techniques. This practical exposure helped participants gain real-time understanding of the technology.

The programme concluded with a valedictory function. Certificates were distributed to all participants, and appreciation certificates were also presented to the participating colleges. The programme ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. R. R. Popat.

Overall, the FDP was conducted successfully with active participation and achieved its objective of enhancing practical knowledge in 3D printing technology.
