Industrial Visit 

With the esteemed inspiration of Honourable Chairman Shri Yogendraji R. Gode Sir and Hon’ble Secretary Ms. Tanvi Y. Gode Madam, and under the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir, an Industrial Visit was successfully organized for D. Pharmacy students on 19th March 2025 at Chaitanya Biological Pvt. Ltd., Malkapur. Chaitanya Biological Pvt. Ltd. is a renowned industry engaged in the manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), playing a crucial role in the pharmaceutical sector. This visit was meticulously planned as part of our institute's vision and mission to foster student growth through experiential learning and practical exposure to the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.

Community Pharmacy Visit

With the inspiration of Honourable President of IBSS Shri. Yogendraji Gode Saheb, Secretary Ms.Tanvi Gode Madam and Under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh As a part of curriculum activities one day Community Pharmacy visit to Pavan Medical & General Stores, Malkapur on 30 Nov 2024, was organized for D. Pharm  students. Faculty along with students visited the Community Pharmacy at 12:30 pm. As a Pharmacist Mr. Ajay Sharma offered a warm welcome to the students and gives the detail operations handle in the community pharmacy.

Hospital Visit

With the inspiration of Honourable President of IBSS Shri. Yogendraji Gode Saheb, Secretary Ms. Tanvi Gode Madam and Under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh sir As a part of curriculum activities, one day Hospital visit to Sub-District Hospital, Malkapur was organized for D. Pharm students on 30 Nov 2024. Around 10:30 Am we reached Government Hospital Malkapur. As a Hospital representative Mrs. Anagha Lokhande offered a warm welcome to the students and gives the details about different Departments in the hospital like OPD, IPD , Pharmacy, clinical pathology, AIDS and TB Control, Vaccine, Eye Dept., Accident and Emergency care, Gynecology and Maternity unit etc. 

Induction Program 

Dr. Rajendra Gode college of Pharmacy Malkapur organized one day induction programme on dated 3rd Jan. 2025 for newly admmited M. Pharm Students.The programme was inaugurated with workship of goddess of knowlede Ma Saraswati and Lamp Lightning ceremony. The chief guest and Expert Speaker of Session Dr. Sharad Wakode sir, Professor DIPSARU, New Delhi interacted with the students on the topics of Advancements in the field of Pharmacy and Research. Dr P. K. Deshmukh,  Principal, also encourages the students for research and collaborative activities. Dr. Pavan Chinchole coordinate the programme. Academic Dean Dr V.S. Adhao and other faculty also present for the session. The Prof Ritesh Popat anchor and moderated the programme. The Programme was concluded with the vote of thanx by Prof. Mukesh Babhulkar.

Janaushadhi Drug Store Visit

With the inspiration of Honourable President Shri. Yogendraji Gode Saheb, Secretary Ms. Tanvi Gode Madam, and under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh, a one-day visit to Jan Aushadhi Drug Store, Malkapur was organized for D. Pharm students on 30 November 2024 at 12:00 PM. The students were warmly received by the pharmacist, who explained the objectives of the Jan Aushadhi scheme and its importance in providing cost-effective quality medicines. Students observed prescription verification, dispensing of generic medicines, patient counseling, and proper record-keeping. They also gained practical insights into promoting rational use of medicines and public health awareness.

2025-26

Orientation Program

With the inspiration and guidance of Hon. Mr. Yogendraji Gode Sir, Secretary Ms. Tanvi Gode Ma’am, Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir, and Academic Dean Dr. V. S. Adhao Sir, an enlightening Personality Development Session was organized for the first-year students. The Principal Sir delivered an insightful keynote address on how to crack interviews, sharing valuable tips and experiences to help students prepare effectively for future opportunities. The session was conducted by Mr. Aejaz Shaikh Sir, a renowned trainer and life coach, and Regional Project Officer of Jivan Sanjivani H.R.D. Institute, Sangli Branch (Jalgaon). He captivated the audience with his inspiring thoughts, interactive activities, and practical guidance on building self-confidence, effective communication, positive mindset, goal setting, goal achievement, and meditation. His words truly encouraged students to believe in themselves and strive for excellence in every aspect of life. The constant motivation and support from our management and academic heads have always been the driving force behind organizing such meaningful programs aimed at the holistic personality development of our students. Heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Aejaz Shaikh Sir for sharing his valuable time, experience, and inspiration, and to all faculty members and students for their enthusiastic participation.

Freshers Party

Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy successfully organized its Freshers’ Party, *"Aarambh 2K25".* hosted by the Second-Year D. Pharmacy students to welcome the First-Year students into the college family. The event was organise with inspiration of our Hon. President Shri Yogendraji Gode Sir, Secretary Miss Tanvi Gode Madam and under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir, and Academic Dean Dr. V. S. Adhao Sir. The program began with the auspicious Lamp Lighting Ceremony, followed by an inspiring address by Principal Sir,Dr.P.K.Deshmukh who motivated the students to stay focused on academics and discipline. The event was gracefully conducted with felicitation, anchoring by Bhagyashree Mehenge and Abhijeet Mahale. The overall anchoring and program coordination were managed effectively by Bhagyashree , Arshad , and Suraj Sabe ensuring a smooth flow of the event. As a highlight of the celebration, the titles of Miss Fresher and Mr. Fresher were awarded.

• *Mr. Fresher* award was presented to a First-Year student Mr.Dhiraj Ugale, and the award was handed over by Suraj Sabe.

Government Hospital Visit

Medicinal Garden Visit

On 23rd February 2026, the Department of D. Pharmacy, Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, successfully organized a field visit to the Digital Medicinal Garden as part of innovative teaching–learning and experiential learning initiatives under the Pharmacognosy curriculum. Under the supervision of Prof. K. S. Gayakwad, students explored a variety of medicinal plants, learning about their identification, botanical characteristics, scientific names, therapeutic uses, active constituents, and pharmaceutical significance. The visit also introduced students to QR-based digital information systems, enabling interactive learning about plant taxonomy, phytochemistry, standardization, and conservation practices. The activity enhanced students’ practical knowledge, observational skills, and understanding of medicinal plants, effectively bridging classroom learning with real-world pharmaceutical applications. An enriching experience fostering scientific curiosity, analytical thinking, and professional growth among future pharmacy professionals.

Community Visit

With the inspiration of Honourable President of IBSS Shri. Yogendraji Gode Saheb, Secretary Ms.Tanvi Gode Madam and Under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh As a part of curriculum activities one day Community Pharmacy visit to Pavan Medico & General Stores, Malkapur on 29 Nov 2025, was organized for D. Pharm students. Faculty along with students visited the Community Pharmacy at 11:30 AM. As a Pharmacist Mr. Ajay Sharma offered a warm welcome to the students and gives the detail operations handle in the community pharmacy. The basic objective of this visit is to explain principles of health & wellness as appropriate to the provision of specific individuals, populations health & wellness information. To determine the public's views of and satisfaction with community pharmacy services currently provided in India. Students get knowledge about checking the prescription from the doctor and preparing the medication for the patient. Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patient’s questions. The most commonly mentioned skill was the ability to provide direct patient care.

Aids Rally Day

Dr. Rajendra Gode Pharmacy College Malkapur on 29 November 2025, under the inspiration of the Honorable President of the institution Mr. Yogendraji Gode Saheb, Secretary Ms. Tanvi Gode Madam and under the guidance of the Principal of the college Dr. Prashant Deshmukh, an awareness rally was organized on the premises of Sub-District Hospital Malkapur by the National Service Scheme Team of the college. Anagha Lokhande, Red Ribbon Club Officer of Sub-District Hospital Malkapur and other employees were present in large numbers in this rally. In this rally, the students created awareness on the topic of HIV AIDS, shed light on the causes of AIDS and preventive measures as well as the misconceptions about the disease AIDS in the society.

Teachers Day

The D. Pharm Second Year students of Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm on 5th September, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The event began with a warm welcome for faculty members, who were greeted with flowers by the students. Fun-filled games, interactive activities, and heartfelt sharing of memorable college experiences by teachers created a joyful and nostalgic atmosphere. Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh delivered an inspiring speech on the life and contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, while Academic Dean Dr. V. S. Adhao shared valuable guidance and words of wisdom with the students. The program was gracefully anchored by students of D. Pharm Second Year. The celebration was a memorable success, strengthening the bond between teachers and students while honoring the invaluable role of educators in shaping future professionals.

KSHITIJ 2K26

The inauguration of the Vidarbha region’s first Centre of Excellence (3D Printing Technology Lab), jointly established by Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy and Thincr Technology Private Limited, Pune, was held with great enthusiasm on 1st February 2026. The ceremony was organized on the occasion of the annual gathering “Kshitij 2026.†The Centre of Excellence was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Chainsukh Sancheti, MLA, Malkapur Assembly Constituency, through the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

Alumni Meet

As a part of the celebrations of the Annual Social Gathering “Kshitij 2026â€, the college organized an Alumni Meet on 1 February 2026,, under the inspiration and guidance of Honorable Shri Yogendra Gode Sir, President of the Institution, and Honorable Tanvi Tai Gode Mam, Secretary. The program recorded the presence of 94 alumni, reflecting strong alumni participation.The Alumni Meet commenced with an interactive session involving the alumni, Honorable Shri Yogendra Gode Sir, the Principal of the College, Dr. Prashant Deshmukh Sir (President, Alumni Association), and Dr. Mahesh Narkhede Sir (Vice President) and with other faculty members. During the interaction, alumni fondly recalled their student life and expressed satisfaction with the academic growth and infrastructural development of the institution. Honorable Shri Yogendra Gode Sir addressed the alumni, emphasizing the institution’s vision, values, and the role of alumni in its continued progress.

Dr. Rajendra Gode college of Pharmacy, Malkapur (Women’s Cell) in association with Mahindra Pride Classroom Naandi Foundation, Mrs. Seema Bhagwat Regional Manager (Maharashtra & Gujarat),and Mr. Anurag Patankar, Program Manager(Training & Placement) has organized a soft skill development programme “Employability with Empathy for Girls†from 18 th September to 26th September. The programme was organized by inspiration of Honorable president Shri Yogendraji Gode Sir, the Secretary of college Ms Tanvi Gode ma’am & multi visionary Principal Dr.P.K.Deshmukh sir & academic dean Dr.V.S. Adhao sir to develop soft skill in girl’s student of D.Pharm & B.Pharm Final year .The MPC trainer Mr.Tushar Ingale conducted training sessions to empower the girls.

Career Guidance on Financial Wellness Enhancement (SEBI)

With the inspiration of Hon’ble Chairman Shri Yogendraji R. Gode Sir, Hon’ble Secretary Ms. Tanvi Y. Gode Madam, and under the leadership of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir, the Women’s Cell of Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy (DRGCOP), Malkapur, organized a Guest Lecture on “Career Guidance and Financial Wellness†in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on September 15, 2025. The resource person for the session was Dr. Suneel Sharma Sir, who shared deep insights into financial planning. He explained the significance of Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), the functioning and benefits of mutual funds, and the various levels of risk involved in different types of mutual funds. He also guided the students on how to identify and avoid fraudulent schemes, and emphasized the role of SEBI in investor protection. Importantly, he highlighted the proper channels and authorities to approach in case of financial scams.The program was effectively coordinated by Prof. Shital Gandhi, Prof. Jaya Ambhore, Prof. Kiran Gaikwad, Prof. Rohini Jangale, and Prof. Chaitali Jaiswal. The Preface was delivered by Prof. Shital Gandhi, who introduced the theme and objectives of the session, while the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Prof. Chaitali Jaiswal, who expressed gratitude towards the management, the resource person, faculty, and students for making the event successful

Guest Lecture on the topic of Empowered Pharmacist.  

With the inspiration of Hon'ble President of the Trust Shri. Mr. Yogendraji Gode sir and Hon’ble Secretary Tanvi Gode Madam and Under the guidance of the principal of the college Dr. Prashant Deshmukh sir. On 06 November 2025, Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, organized Empowered Pharmacist as a part Orientation program for first year students.  Mr.  Nitin B Patil was the Resource person, who is a Founder, Uttung Bharari Training Academy, Mumbai. In his presentation, Mr. Nitin B Patil guide the students about the 5 mantras of positive attitude. He focused on how positive attitude help to achieve success in life. He provided insights and advice on how to secure good marks in examination using positive attitude. He also shared the tips and trick to be adopted in day to day route in like affirmation, meditation, gratitude etc. The seminar was attended by students, faculties and proved to be very informative and interactive. The participants not only learned but enjoyed and actively participate during the seminar. The Principal, Dr. P. K. Deshmukh, advised the students to adopt positive attitude and encourage building up their personality. 3^rd National cGMP Day A Guest Lecture on Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

With the inspiration of Hon’ble Chairman Shri Yogendraji R. Gode Sir, Hon’ble Secretary Ms. Tanvi Y. Gode Madam, and under the leadership of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir, the Department of D. Pharmacy, Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, organized the 3rd cGMP Day Celebration on 10^th Oct 2025. The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and their vital role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. The program was anchored by Prof. Mohini Kshirsagar, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students, setting a positive tone for the event. The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp ceremony, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. The distinguished guest speaker for the day was Dr. Ravindra Ingle, Quality Assurance Manager at Chaitanya Biologicals Pvt. Ltd., Malkapur. Dr. Ingle delivered an expert talk on “Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)â€, sharing his vast professional experience of over 19 years in Quality Assurance and Biopharmaceuticals. He elaborated on the essential principles of GMP, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance practices in the pharmaceutical industry. His insights greatly enriched the knowledge of students and faculty alike. During the session, Academic Dean Dr. Vaibhav Adhao Sir also guided the students and shared his valuable views on the importance of quality standards and continuous learning in the pharmaceutical profession.

World Suicide Prevention Day

World Suicide Prevention Day was celebrated at Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur. The event was organized on 10th September 2025 under the guidance of the Honourable President of IBSS, Mr. Yogendraji Gode, and the Honorable Secretary, Ms. Tanvi Gode, with the cooperation of Principal Dr. Prashant Deshmukh. It was jointly conducted by the Guest lecture Committee of D Pharmacy Department. The chief guest, psychiatrist Dr. Lata Bahekar, was present and provided valuable guidance. The program was hosted by students Snehal Bavaskar and Vaishnavi Bhange. The introduction was presented by Prof. Dr. Ankush Maskar, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Bhavesh Mandwale

Guest Lecture on Stress Management for D. Pharm Students

With the inspiration and guidance of Hon. President Shri Yogendraji Gode Sir, Secretary Ms. Tanvi Gode Ma’am, Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir, and Academic Dean Dr. V. S. Adhao Sir. The session was conducted by Dr. Mangesh Deokar Sir, who delivered an insightful and scientifically rich talk on understanding and managing stress effectively. Sir beautifully explained the concepts of positive stress and negative stress, the stress response pathways and healing response pathways in the human body. He elaborated on the role of important neurotransmitters like Serotonin, Melatonin, and Acetylcholine in maintaining emotional balance, good sleep, focus, and overall mental well-being. Sir also emphasized practical ways to manage stress through self-awareness, meditation, positive thinking, and relaxation techniques, encouraging students to lead a healthy and balanced life. The program was anchored by Prof. Rohini Jangale, and the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Prof. Shital Gandhi.The event was coordinated by Prof. Ritesh Popat, Prof. Rahul Darakhe, and Prof. Shital Gandhi, whose sincere efforts ensured the successful conduction of the session. The Faculty of D. Pharm First Year took dedicated efforts for the successful conduction of the program. All students of First Year D. Pharm enthusiastically attended the session and gained valuable insights. Guest Lecture on Pathway to Success: Effective Learning and Career Readiness for D. Pharm Students

With the inspiration of Hon'ble Chairman Shri Yogendraji R. Gode Sir, Hon'ble Secretary Ms. Tanvi Y. Gode Madam, and under the leadership of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir, the Department of D. Pharmacy, Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, organized a Guest Lecture on "Pathway to Success: Effective Learning and Career Readiness for D. Pharm Students" on November 6,2025. The objective of the program was to guide students toward effective learning strategies and to prepare them for a successful professional career in the field of pharmacy. The resource person for the session was Mr. Rupesh R. Choure, HOD, at Latur GDC Offline Center, who shared valuable insights on academic excellence, skill development, and career readiness. He emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, continuous learning, and adapting to evolving industry needs. His talk inspired students to develop a proactive attitude toward both academic and professional growth. The event was effectively coordinated under the guidance of Prof. R. A. Darakhe, HOD, D. Pharm Department, along with Prof. R. A. Jangle (Coordinator) and Prof. K. S. Gayakwad (Co-coordinator). Prof. S. J. Gandhi, Prof. V. S. Padghan, and Prof. V. M. Patil were also present for the program. The program was anchored by D. Pharm Second Year student Ms. Pooja Jangle, who conducted the event smoothly and confidently. Guest Lecture on Heartfulness Meditation

With the inspiration of Hon'ble President of the Trust Shri. Mr. Yogendraji Gode sir and Hon’ble Secretary Tanvi Gode Madam and Under the guidance of the principal of the college Dr. Prashant Deshmukh sir. On 06 November 2025, Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, organized Heartfulness Meditation Program as a part Orientation program for first year students. The seminar, aimed at providing valuable insights into Need of Meditation and effect of Meditation on Day-to-Day Life, was conducted by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sanjay Lahoti Buldhana District Heartfulness Coordinator. Faculty of D. Pharm first year played a crucial role in the organizing event. The Preface given by Prof. Ritesh Popat. The event was attended by large number of D. Pharm and B. Pharm First year students and a distinguished panel of faculty members. The program anchored by Prof. Shweta Rane event was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Mohini Kshirsagar.

Workshop on Chemical and Biological Waste Management at Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy

A one-day workshop on chemical and biological waste management was successfully organized on 11th October 2025 at Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur. The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Prashant Deshmukh and Dr. V. S. Adhav, with inspiration from Shri Yogendraji Gode, President, and Miss Tanvi Gode, Secretary of Indira Multipurpose Educational Institution. The main objective of the workshop was to promote awareness about responsible waste disposal practices and the importance of environmental protection in academic and industrial sectors. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by an introduction highlighting the need for sustainable waste management. The workshop featured two expert speakers, Dr. Umesh Ladhe, Plant Manager  Benzochem, Malkapur, and Mr. Akshay Raut, Training Officert Wise Ecocare & Farmtech, Khamgaon. In the first session, Mr. Raut provided detailed information on biomedical waste management. He explained the correct use of color-coded bins, the segregation of waste at the source, safety precautions, and the regulatory rules to be followed. In the next session, Dr. Ladhe spoke about chemical waste management, focusing on handling expired chemicals safely, preventive measures, and compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. The event was effectively organized by Prof. Ashish Rathi and co-organizer Prof. Vikas Ghait. Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Patent System in India†on 22 June 2026 at 12 PM in online mode via Google Meet, under the esteemed inspiration and leadership of Honourable President Shri Yogendraji Gode Sir and Secretary Miss Tanvi Gode Ma’am, followed by the academic guidance of Dr. P. K. Deshmukh, Principal and Academic dean Dr.V.S.Adhao. The session was delivered by Dr. Amol Tagalpallewar, Associate Professor, School of Health Sciences and Technology, MIT World Peace University, Pune, who provided valuable insights into the Indian patent system, including the process of patent filing, intellectual property rights (IPR), and their importance in pharmaceutical innovation and research. He emphasized how patents protect inventions and encourage scientific development in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding of legal and regulatory aspects of intellectual property, especially in drug development and research-based careers. The session was highly informative and interactive, helping students gain practical awareness of patent procedures and their significance in the modern pharmaceutical industry.

First Aid and Free Medicine Distribution Camp Organized by Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy

Under the inspiration of the Honorable President of Indira Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, *Shri Yogendraji Gode, and Honorable Secretary **Ku. Tanvitai Gode, and with the support of the Principal, **Dr. Prashant Deshmukh, **Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy* organized a *First Aid and Free Medicine Distribution Camp* for devotees returning from Pandharpur. Volunteers from the *National Service Scheme (NSS)* actively and enthusiastically participated in this noble initiative and served the devotees with great dedication. To provide relief and relaxation to the tired devotees, arrangements were made for *warm salt-water foot soaks*, allowing them to rest and soothe their tired feet. Various medicines and first-aid facilities were also provided free of cost to those in need.

Hypertension Awareness Programme Organized at Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur

A Hypertension Awareness Programme was organized at Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, on 12th August 2026 at 2:00 PM by PC-DIC & D.Pharm, in collaboration with Glenmark, Akola, under the coordination of Mr. Wahed Ali Khan Sir. The resource person for the programme, Dr. Pawan Kumar Agrawal, MD Medicine, provided valuable guidance on the causes and prevention of hypertension, the importance of regular blood pressure monitoring, and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. He emphasized the significance of early detection and appropriate lifestyle modifications in the prevention and effective management of high blood pressure.

Guest Lecture on Entrepreneurship in Pharmacy

A Guest Lecture on “Entrepreneurship in Pharmacy†was successfully organized on 24 August 2026 at Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur. The programme was organized under the inspiration of Hon. President Shri Yogendraji Gode Sir and Secretary Miss Tanvi Gode Madam, and under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir. The resource person, Dr. Pavan P. Chinchole, provided valuable insights into various entrepreneurial opportunities in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The session focused on entrepreneurship skills, business planning, regulatory requirements, financial resources, innovation, and ethical practices. Students actively participated in the interactive discussion and were motivated to explore self-employment, start-ups, and innovative career opportunities in pharmacy. The programme was successfully coordinated under the guidance of HOD Prof. R. A. Darakhe, with Committee In-charge Prof. R. A. Jangle and Prof. K. S. Gayakwad actively contributing to its successful execution. Prof. V. S. Padghan, Prof. S. J. Gandhi, Prof. V. M. Patil, and Prof. M. R. Shelake were present and extended their support to the programme.

Jan Aushadhi Drug Store Visit

A Jan Aushadhi Drug Store Visit was successfully organized on 24 August 2026 for the D. Pharm II Year students at Jan Aushadhi Drug Store, Malkapur. The programme was organized under the inspiration of Hon. President Shri Yogendraji Gode Sir and Secretary Miss Tanvi Gode Madam, and under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh Sir. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of a Jan Aushadhi Drug Store and to enhance their understanding of affordable and quality generic medicines. During the visit, the Proprietor of the store, Mr. Mukul Gawai, guided the students and provided valuable information regarding the storage, arrangement, dispensing, prescription handling, inventory management, and availability of generic medicines. He also explained the role of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) in making quality medicines accessible at affordable prices. Students actively participated in the visit and clarified their queries regarding community pharmacy operations and the day-to-day management of the drug store. The visit provided valuable practical knowledge about community pharmacy practice, generic medicines, patient-oriented services, and pharmaceutical inventory management. It successfully enhanced students’ understanding of the role of Jan Aushadhi Drug Stores in promoting affordable and accessible healthcare.
