Book Exhibition was organize in library department on the occasion of Reading Inspiration Day

The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh, Academic Dean Dr. V. S. Adhao, teaching and non-teaching staff, and enthusiastic student.

To promote the habit of reading among students and to inspire them through book exhibition.

The Reading Inspiration Day was conducted successfully in the library on15th October 2025 . The event began with a short introduction about the importance of reading by Librarian Mrs.Shubhangini Akotkar.

Various genres of books were displayed, including fiction, biographies, science, and motivational books to spark interest.

* Increased enthusiasm for reading among students.

* Several students borrowed books from the library for the first time.

* Enhanced awareness about the importance of reading daily.

* Encouraged students to explore new genres.

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Students expressed a desire to have such events more frequently. Teachers suggested including author interactions in the future.

Reading Inspiration Day was a successful initiative that achieved its aim of nurturing a love for reading. It served as a platform to introduce students to the joy and benefits of reading and it will be continued as a regular feature in the library calendar.
