With the incredible inspiration of Hon'ble Chairman Mr Yogedraji Gode sir and the valuable Vision of Respected Secretary Miss Tanvitai Gode Mam, The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry organized a guest lecture on **“Scientific Writing and Journal Selection”** on 12 August 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Seminar Hall of Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur.
The session was delivered by **Dr. Rahul D. Jawarkar, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, DRGIoP, Amravati**. The lecture focused on important aspects of scientific writing, preparation of quality research manuscripts, selection of appropriate journals, and considerations for effective publication of research work.
The programme was attended by **45 PG students along with faculty members**. The session provided valuable guidance to students regarding scientific communication and publication practices, which will help them in their academic and research activities.
The programm is hosted by **Miss Shweta Rane** and smoothly conducted the proceedings. **Mr. Kisan Pawar** assisted in the **inauguration of the programme**. **Mr. Bhavesh Mandwale** provided **technical assistance** throughout the session.
The programme was coordinated by **Dr. P. P. Chinchole, Coordinator**, with the support of **Dr. V. S. Adhao, IQAC Head**, and under the guidance of **Dr. P. K. Deshmukh, Principal**.
The programme concluded by Vote of thanks by **Miss Sakshi Patil** and expressed gratitude to the resource person, management, faculty members, and students for their valuable contribution and participation. successfully with active participation from the students and faculty members. The guest lecture was informative and beneficial, providing participants with practical insights into scientific writing and appropriate journal selection for research publication.
