Seminar on Emerging IT Healthcare Career Opportunities for Pharmacy Graduates

A seminar on “Most Booming IT Healthcare Jobs for Pharma Graduates in Medical Coding and Billing, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Clinical Data Management (CDM)” was successfully organized by the Training and Placement Cell of Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy. The program was conducted under the inspiration and guidance of Hon. Shri Yogendraji Gode Sir, President, and Miss Tanvi Gode Ma’am, Secretary of IBSS, Buldana. The event was further supported by the valuable leadership of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh and IQAC Head Dr. V. S. Adhao.

The main objective of the seminar was to create awareness among pharmacy students about emerging career opportunities in the pharmaceutical and healthcare IT sectors. The program aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations while guiding students about employability skills, professional responsibilities and career development pathways. Students were introduced to promising domains such as medical coding and billing, clinical research, pharmacovigilance and clinical data management, which are currently growing rapidly in the healthcare industry.

The session was delivered by industry experts Mr. Mayur Gadkari and Mr. Sonal Khandeshe. They shared their valuable professional experiences and provided insights into clinical research operations, clinical data management practices and workplace ethics. The speakers also highlighted the importance of skill development, industry readiness and professional attitude required for successful careers in the pharmaceutical sector.

The seminar was held on 11 March 2026, 11:30 AM and served as an informative platform for students to interact with industry professionals and gain practical knowledge about the healthcare industry.

The program was coordinated by Prof. R. R. Popat while the session was effectively anchored by Prof. Mohini Kshirsagar. The sincere efforts of Training and Placement Cell members Prof. A. M. Rathi,. Prof. A. M. Kudke, Prof. K. S. Gayakwad and Prof. V. N. Ghait played an important role in the successful organization of the event.
