The Training and Placement Cell at Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, pulled off a fantastic webinar on “Career Opportunities in Pharmacovigilance”. It all happened with the steady guidance of Principal Dr. P. K. Deshmukh and Academic Dean Dr. V. S. Adhav, plus the constant encouragement from Shri Yogendraji Gode (President) and Miss Tanvi Gode mam (Secretary) of Indira Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha.
The talk opened students’ eyes to how vital pharmacovigilance is for keeping medicines safe and the exciting job paths it offers in pharma. 156 students jumped in with real excitement, eager to learn about corporate and IT-linked roles.
Our guest, the super-knowledgeable Mr. Manohar Patil, shared practical insights on monitoring drug safety, spotting side effects, and protecting patients. He walked everyone through must-have skills—like sharp thinking, clear communication, regulatory know-how, and teamwork—plus day-to-day responsibilities, growth opportunities, and the real challenges pros face. The Q&A was buzzing; students fired questions about jobs, promotions, and what companies expect, and Mr. Patil answered each one with helpful tips and motivation.
