TP Policy

Introduction

The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) of Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur is established with the objective of facilitating career opportunities for students by developing their employability skills and creating strong linkages with pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, research organizations, and allied sectors.

 Objectives

  1. To bridge the gap between academia and industry requirements.

  2. To conduct training programs on communication skills, interview preparation, aptitude, and soft skills.

  3. To invite reputed organizations for campus recruitment.

  4. To maintain a comprehensive database of students for placement assistance.

  5. To monitor student progress and provide necessary career guidance.

  6. To encourage faculty participation in industry–institute interactions and collaborative projects.

Training Activities

  • Personality development and soft skills workshops.

  • Aptitude, group discussion, and mock interview sessions.

  • Resume and cover letter preparation guidance.

  • Guest lectures by industry professionals.

  • Internship and industrial training coordination.

  • Guidance for GPAT, GRE, TOEFL, and other competitive exams.

 Placement Activities

  • Campus recruitment drives and pooled campus events.

  • Pre-placement talks by visiting organizations.

  • Maintaining and updating placement statistics.

  • Post-placement feedback collection from recruiters and alumni.

Code of Conduct for Students

  1. Students must register with the TPC to participate in placement activities.

  2. Attendance in pre-placement training sessions is mandatory.

  3. Students must maintain discipline and professionalism during interviews.

  4. Once a student is selected in one organization, they shall not be allowed to appear for another interview (unless permitted by TPC).

  5. Misconduct, indiscipline, or breach of policy may lead to disqualification from placement activities.

Industry–Institute Interaction

  • Organizing industrial visits and internships.

  • Establishing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with industries.

  • Conducting joint seminars, workshops, and research projects.

  • Involving industry experts in curriculum development and advisory boards.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain records of training programs, placement statistics, and student feedback.

  • Submit annual reports to the Principal.

  • Keep a digital database for alumni and placement tracking.

Review and Amendment

This policy shall be reviewed every two years or as and when required by the management to ensure alignment with institutional goals and industry requirements.
